Affiliate Disclosure
Lab-Specs is a participant in affiliate advertising programs. This means we may earn commissions on qualifying purchases made through links on this site, at no additional cost to you.
Some of the links on Lab-Specs are affiliate links. If you click one and buy a product, we may receive a commission from the retailer. You never pay more because of it — the price is the same whether you use our link or not.
We only ever link to products we have covered or believe are relevant to the reader. Affiliate relationships do not influence our test results, our scores, or our verdicts. We choose what to review, how to test it, and what to conclude independently of any retailer or manufacturer. A product cannot pay to be reviewed, to score higher, or to have criticism removed.
Where a review unit was supplied on loan or provided free of charge by a manufacturer, that fact is stated clearly within the review. Receiving a unit does not guarantee coverage or a positive outcome, and loaned hardware is treated exactly the same as retail hardware we purchase ourselves.
This disclosure is provided in the spirit of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). Our aim is simple: you should always know when a link can earn us money, and you should never have to wonder whether that changed what we wrote.

This is usable, general-purpose disclosure text. Before launch, update it to name the specific affiliate programs you join (for example, the Amazon Associates Program requires its own prescribed disclosure wording).
